Course Description:
Dive into the captivating world of architecture this summer with the Intro to Architecture Summer Program, specially designed for high school students passionate about exploring the architectural field. Hosted by AIACNY at shared office at Commonspace in downtown Syracuse , this enriching six-week journey unfolds two evenings a week, offering a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the field.
Explore Architectural Concepts: Explore architecture fundamentals and understand space, form, and function.
Hands-On Design Projects: Get creative with exciting design challenges and bring your architectural ideas to life.
Field Trips: Embark on educational field trips to architectural landmarks for real-world inspiration. Tour Architecture programs at local colleges.
Expert Guidance: Learn from experienced architects who will guide you through the process and share valuable insights.
Group Collaboration: Foster teamwork and communication skills by collaborating with fellow aspiring architects.
